LPG
LPG (liquefied petrol gas) tank farms
Liquefied petrol gas is used in regions with no natural gas pipeline network and without a sufficient electrical grid for heating and cooking. Special tank farms serve as intermediate storage for the distribution of LPG. For delivery, LPG is pumped into railway wagons, fuel trucks or portable gas containers.
Port supplies process automation systems from the unloading of the ships, to storage into the tank, reliquefaction of the gas phase to the removal and filling into transportable containers.
